After leaving school, I began my journey in early years education — a field that instantly felt like home. I loved the sense of wonder, curiosity, and discovery that surrounded young children. Wanting to expand my knowledge and follow another passion, I went on to university to study Midwifery. For two and a half years, I dedicated myself to learning about bringing new life into the world.

During that time, I became pregnant with my daughter, Nefeli. Her arrival changed everything for me. As I prepared to become a mother, I realised that Midwifery, while deeply meaningful, wasn’t the path that would allow me to be the mum I wanted to be. I wanted a career that balanced my love for children with my desire to be present for my own.

Not long after, I got married and welcomed my son, August. With two little ones inspiring me every day, I found myself drawn back to early years education — a space where imagination, care, and learning come together. Working in nurseries reignited my passion, and it wasn’t long before I began dreaming of creating something of my own — a place that reflected my values, my creativity, and the joy of childhood.

That dream became Wonderland Nursery.

The name Wonderland was inspired by the magical world of Alice in Wonderland — a place filled with curiosity, imagination, and endless discovery. The cloud in our logo, however, holds a very special meaning. It was inspired by my daughter, Nefeli, whose name in Greek means cloud. To me, the cloud symbolises both wonder and imagination — the essence of childhood and the heart of what Wonderland Nursery represents.

From a dream and a mother’s love, Wonderland Nursery was born — a place where children can learn, grow, and dream among the clouds.
