Dear Parents – World Nursery Rhyme Week is Coming! 🎵

Hello parents,

We’re so excited to let you know that World Nursery Rhyme Week is coming up soon, and we’ll be joining in the fun here at Wonderland Nursery 🎶☁️

From Monday 10th November, we’ll be celebrating some of our favourite rhymes through singing, dancing, and playful activities. Nursery rhymes are such a big part of early learning — they help little ones with language, rhythm, memory, and confidence! 🩵☁️

Each day, we’ll focus on a different rhyme and explore it through songs, stories, and themed play. You might spot some familiar favourites coming home — maybe a spider from Incy Wincy, a sparkly star from Twinkle Twinkle, or even a sheep from Baa Baa Black Sheep! 🕷️🌟🐑

We’d love for families to join in at home too! Here’s how you can help make the week extra special:

🎵 Sing along to the rhyme of the day together (we’ll let you know which one we’re learning!)

🎵 Chat about your child’s favourite nursery rhyme and why they love it

🎵 Bring in a small toy or picture that links to a rhyme

🎵 Children are welcome to come dressed as a nursery rhyme character if they’d like!
