π The Wonderland Nursery Bag Checklist
Everything your little one needs for a happy, comfy day!
We’ve all been there — you’re halfway out the door, small person in your arm and bag in the other and wondering “Did I pack the wipes?” π
To make mornings a bit less of a juggling act, I’ve put together this handy checklist of what to pack in your child’s nursery bag each day. Pop it on your fridge or phone — and you’ll be ready for anything Wonderland throws your way (including puddles!). π§οΈπ
π§· The Everyday Essentials
These are the things we’ll always need — the daily heroes that keep everyone happy and comfortable:
• Nappies
• Wipes (you can never have too many!)
• Nappy bags
• Nappy cream
• Calpol or other medicines (if needed — please label clearly and I will always do a medicine form on Tiney before administering)
• Any other medicine they may need
• Comforter or dummy (if your child uses one)
π Seasonal Must-Haves
Because we love getting outside in all weather, please make sure your little one has the right gear for the season!
βοΈ Summer:
• Sun cream (labelled and suitable for their skin)
• Sun hat
• Light clothing — think breathable fabrics for hot days
βοΈ Winter:
• Warm hat
• Gloves or mittens
• Thick socks
• Coat or snowsuit
• Wellies
• We provide waterproofs but if you could provide wellies for our muddy adventures.
π§Έ Sleepytime Comforts
Some children nap during the day, and we want them to feel cosy and settled.
Please send:
• Sleeping bag or blanket
• Named cot sheet (these items will stay here and be washed weekly)
π Clothes, Clothes, Clothes!
Play, paint, snacks, and puddles — we love a bit of mess at Wonderland! That’s why spare clothes are a must.
Pack at least:
• Two complete changes of clothes each day (top, bottoms, socks, underwear if potty training)
• Extra socks (especially after muddy adventures!)
• A waterproof bag for any wet or messy clothes
πΌ For Our Little Ones
If your child still has milk feeds, please include:
• Formula bottle
• Formula (pre-measured if possible)
• Any special feeding equipment or sterilised bottles
π‘ A Few Extras You Might Not Have Thought Of
• Water bottle (on days we’re going on outings, you’ll know in advance)
• Label everything! — hats, coats, jumpers, even socks (you’d be amazed what children can swap and what goes missing when they are all here)
• Small comfort toy for nap time or quiet play
• Family photo — some little ones love having a picture of you nearby for reassurance π
π Final Thoughts
Packing for nursery doesn’t have to be stressful — think of this checklist as your little helping hand each morning.
Everything you send helps your child feel comfortable, cared for, and ready for their big day of play at Wonderland Nursery.
