☁️ Meet Alice: A Bit About Me and Why I Love What I Do 🩷
Hi, I’m Alice! I’m a mum to two little ones — Nefeli, who’s 2 years and 8 months, and August, who’s 8 months old. Life with two under three is extremely busy, and I wouldn’t have it any other way 🩷
Family time is really important to us. My husband and I love taking the kids out at the weekend — usually for breakfast at one of our favourite local cafés. We also enjoy trying new restaurants when we can (mainly when we’ve got grandparents lined up to babysit!) We love travelling too, whether that’s a quick trip to see friends in Brighton or holidays a bit further afield — Miami, the Dominican Republic, and of course Rhodes Island in Greece, where my husband is from are a few examples of places we have been! Our next stop is Paris this Christmas 🥖🥐🇫🇷
At home, I’m a bit of a lover of the simple things. I secretly enjoy cleaning, organising, and keeping a lovely, calm space for the children. There’s something so satisfying about a tidy home and a happy atmosphere — it makes such a difference to how we all feel. 🧽
I opened a home nursery because I genuinely love being around children and watching them grow. There’s nothing better than seeing them discover something new, make friends, or gain confidence in something they’ve been practising. I try to create a warm, home-from-home environment where the children feel safe, happy, and loved. 🥰
When I do get a bit of time to myself, I like to go for a run with my double buggy — and on a really lucky day, I go alone! It’s my way of clearing my head and keeping up with the chaos of family life. 🏃♀️
Something not many people know about me — I play the guitar and write songs. I don’t get to do it as often these days, but every now and then I’ll get my guitar out and sing with my daughter or the children. Music has always been a big part of my life. (Fun fact: I even entered Britain’s Got Talent when I was 15! And no…. You won’t find it on YouTube, I didn’t get to that stage 😂) 🎸
Owning a Home Nursery fits so naturally with who I am. It combines everything I love — children, family, creativity, and a happy home. Every day is different, full of laughter, learning, and little moments that make me so grateful for what I do. ☁️
